Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, Georgia, USA ? Definitely road trip worthy!
The full moon highlights the ancient pines and live oaks preserved by salt air and bleached by the sun. The relentless tide has eroded the beach and exposed the massive root systems of the trees. It’s estimated that nearly 1,000 feet of Jekyll’s beaches have been lost to erosion since 1900.
